“Media Pending” stall/hang 5.5 w/ r3d
I’m having some trouble with Premiere not reading my red footage. The footage plays fine in Red Cine-X. When I open a project previously worked on, everything loads fine, except the red footage. The audio from the red footage loads fine and the waveform shows up, but I get a “media pending” yellow screen, and though I can interact w/ Premiere, the preview screen becomes unresponsive. I can exit Premiere fine, but after the window closes, it can’t exit fully and the application freezes and I have to force quit.
I tried googling and searching here but didn’t find much. Seems like something that would be a common issue.
Any ideas?

Not sure why, but it’s working now. I opened another project with different media type, and then re-opened this one and now it works.
