media offline icon, but media is ONline…
i moved my clips back to my Seagate drive, reconnected them all successfully, and the project loads up nicely, BUT all the clips that had been disconnected previously show up in the timeline with the red and black icon that means “media offline”, and yet the media plays fine in the viewer, the canvas, and on my output monitor. its’ really not a big deal, but just must be some small bug. is there a way to update these icons?
i’ve gone to the sequence settings and changed it from “name plus thumbnail” to just “name”, and back again, thinking that might trigger an updated image, but no.

Locate your THUMBNAIL CACHE FILES and empty the contents of that folder.
Then restart FCP.
