    hi folks,

I have a bunch of clips clip in a timeline here (FCP6). They play and edit well, just when I want to ‘match frame’ i get “media offline”. In the item properties the correct paths to my mediafiles are shown. I also have the mediafile in my footage folder in the browser. How can this be?

Of course I can ‘reconnect media’ (and that works) but it’s a pain in the ass to reconnect a whole timeline (which should not be necsesarry), right?

any experience with that out there?

    thx …Gunnar

It may not be necessary, but somehow you’ve managed to disconnect the media… are you playing render files possibly? Did you move the media at any time?

You can reconnect the media in a sequence all in one fell swoop too… I’d do that and forget about it.
