I am looking at both Media Mover and Media Copy. They seem fairly similar and roughly the same price. Does anyone have a preference for one or the other?

Pretty sure that they do different things. Media Copy lets you find all media associated with an AAF composition. Media Mover finds the project association for media on any drive, then lets you sift them into separate folders.

Is it for Mac or Windows. The use to be a free app for Windows called MDV for Avid. It’s hard to come by, but here is a link:

It is not a supported product, so use at your own risk.

Media Mover has been a staple in the Avid toolbox for years.
