    hi

i have a show approx 12 min long. it has a number of nests, slomo’s, and “pre comps” its also a mix of DV50 and HD 8bit (use hd for blow ups) and right now its approx 66 gB o media

what should i be aware of if i wanted to use media manager to delete unused portions of long captures or sections of clips not in my final show?

even though i have a lot of nests, if i make sure they are all in one bin, and tell MM to refer to that bin, i should be okay?

will it take a lot of manipulating to make this work, or am i better off just keeping the 60 gB of media around?

and if no one really knows or has done this, are there any resources where i can get info as to how?

lotsa questions i know, but my bosses want to get as much out of system as possible

    thanx

With the price of external drives so cheap, the time taken to MM a mere 66 gig wouldn’t be worth the effort surely.
