I’ve had many problems over the years with the Media Manager screwing up synch in my projects when I try to deleted unused media. Those were always DV projects with various version of FCP. Now I’m editing an HD feature and will want to use the Media Manager to Copy my sequences and clips into a new project and delete the unused media from from the new files. I just completed a test and it looked pretty good. But I’m still nervous. Anyone run across any bugs that are tripping them up with the FCP5 Media Manager?

Well I’ve had no issues with sync. However it still is flakey and is not even close to that of an Avid. At least it’s getting better with each release. Do a copy first and then if everything works out ok you can then delete the origninal stuff.
