    hi
i am trying to convert Ffootage recorded 1080i with AJA KIPRO in Prores (PAL 25 F ) to
proxy Prores for Offlin editing , because i have much multicams

But with media Mangage its not working : i select a clip in the browser and open the media manager , choose recopress , no matter what codec i choose , there is no change in the size bar , and the media is only copied , always

doing the same with a DV clip works as expected .

now the hit: taking the Prores clip a timline with the same settings , and exporting the clip and then reimporting it — resulting in the same obect infos as the original AJA clip .
Media manager works !! with the reimported clip , but not with the original AJA prores !?

are there different Prores ?? are they incomptible ?

taking a buch of clips , some re-imported and some originals, and recomress them to prores SD pAL

only the reimported clips are resized , the originals are just copied ,

anyone knows this problem ? and a solution ? 😉

AJA is working on a fix. You can read about it over on the KiPro forum.

Yup, known issue. Hopefully AJA can get a fix out soon.
