Then, the flags are there which is why FCP can remove the proper pulldown when put in to a 24p sequence.

I would take all of your DVCpro HD 720p24 over 60 clips, out them in a native timeline, add some handles and export as self contained. then replace those in your final Davinci timeline.

Thanks for all the input folks! This has been a quite a learning experience. We’ve been able to find a hybrid approach to all this that will get us through and still keep the quality. But next time, I will start it out RIGHT.
