  Media Manager in FCP 5

  Media Manager in FCP 5 has been nothing but a hassle, it works great for some projects but not others, no matter what editing technique I use. Would really appreciate any help here, how does footage need to be chopped up/arrangeed, etc.

  Really looking to capture all my footage for a client, assemble the project and then for archiving purposes, make a smaller size folder that contains only the footage that I used as well as other materials for the project. Any ideas? Obviously I have checked the box “delete unused media” and sometimes the modified file size is smaller and sometimes it isn’t.
