Media Manager and Freeze-Speed Triggers-Altered Speed
Heres a thought to deal with MM’s finikyness with speed changes/freezes and such…
I know baking in-exporting and importing is one approach. Since I use the “send to” function alot with Motion 3, how about this. Everytime you need a freeze or speed change or speed ramp….send the clip to Motion, create the speed effect, save the project then jump back into FCP. Theoretically it should work and take advantage of the quick work flow between FCP and Motion. -

Good idea… the speed changes in Motion blow FCP’s away in any event!
