Media Manager 2.4 performance, crashes, version?
Hi all!
I was trying to use the Sony Media Manager but I found that it wasn’t installed with my Vegas Pro 9 install. The Vegas Pro 9 installer won’t let me install just a missing part of the program so I searched online for the individual installer. I found it on the Sony site but it was listed as version 2.4 and for Vegas 8.
Is 2.4 the correct version for Vegas Pro 9? If not, it might explain why it crashes when I try use the search function to add media to it. Of course, not all media crashes it. Only specific file path errors with a whitespace blank something error message. I know that’s horribly non specific. It brings down all of Vegas when it crashes.
I can manually add files from that path using drag and drop but it confuses the Sony Media Manager so that it only shows a blank screen on the next launch. Windows doesn’t have any problems moving or copying the files.
If anyone can help, I would appreciate it.

Thanks for the link. I was there the other day and I swear there wasn’t a Media Manager link. Sony must have just added it. Either that or I’m dumber than I look and that would be quite a stretch!
