  media manage put-v on everything?

  Hi for years I have been happily media managing away and then all of a sudden all my files are having -v added to their names which creates loads of missing media when I re open the edits?
  as far as i can tell I haven’t changed my MM prefs?

  Any Help would be greatly appreciated
