Media logging procedural question
Hell all, I am a long time reader, first time poster.
I am making the transition to FCPX from 7.03, I am cutting a short film, two camera shoot (with cam audio for sync), tascam external audio etc…
My question is, I have just finished logging all the footage and audio (Scene, Shot/Take, Notes), I started creating synchronized clips using the auto feature matching waveforms (works great), but now the new compound “synched” clips aren’t retaining any of the info, even if the Scene/Shot/Take values match appropriately.
Do I have to log all 100+ files again?
I am not making multi-cam clips, just 1 video to 1 audio, meaning that each audio file is synched to 2 cameras.
