Media Log with Code
I am trying to use media log with Time Code (the camera hooked up via firewire) and it isn’t seeing the deck. I can get it when I do it via 232 serial and a deck but not via firewire and a camera. Any ideas?

You don’t say what version media log, but I’m guessing it won’t read FW – can you control the deck at all when you have it hooked up via firewire?
The last version of media log I remember seeing was 11.0 back abound 2000.

It doesn’t seem to want to see firewire whether it is a D8 TVR or the Sony Z1U or the Sony XD HD I am not sure how to configure it to see firewire.
the media log is 12.0

Did you download the manual for Media Log? If it can use firewire (I’m guessing it can’t) it should have instructions there…
