media log equivalent for fcp

There is none, sorry. You can use an Excel Spreadsheet to manually type in numbers and work from proxie quicktimes or DVD dubs…but there is no Media Log equivalent with deck control and ability to make projects and bin and clips to be captured.

Actually, if you have a copy of Avid Media Log…you can use it. Just export the bin as ALE and use Cinema Tools to convert to FCP batch list

Thanks for the info. If I use the Cinema Tools route would it maintain all the meida log columns and data (like comments) or just the clip name, tape number & in and out points?

Not sure, but its easy enough to do a test. Why not give it a go and report back
