Media goes offline and I loose audio when adding LUT
Well after years as an editor I thought I saw it all. Recently updated to 17.4 and just started ingesting footage from a feature I have in production. I was putting together a few dailies and giving it a basic LUT that leans toward the color grade we prefer. No matter what clip or sequence we add, the minute I add the LUT, the clips go off line….but here’s the kicker….they go offline only when the scroll bar is paused. Then to add to thus mayhem, all audio goes silent…the waveform is still visible in the audio timeline but no audio levels. I just finished a feature last year and never had this problem. Last years feature was shot on Red and this feature is shot using ArriRaw off the Alexa. I’m running a maxed out Mac tower mid 2010 with 84GB memory, intel 6 core Xeon RX 580 video card with Red Rocket card and utilizing a Lacie 8GB raid. Like I said, I never had a problem last year editing Red 4K footage with real time playback and posted a two hour feature. Im using Arri proxies but I get the same results using the original raw.

Well i figured out the problem myself. Upgrading to 17.4 was the problem. Nothing but bugs. Went back to 17 and all is perfect.
