Media FX & moving a project to a new computer
I just completed a project with a mix of clip, track, & media FX and needed to move the project files to a new location & computer. At the new location, none of my media FX settings were present. The only issue I can identify is that the original PC has Win7 & Vegas 10 64-bit while the second PC has WinXP and Vegas 10 32-bit. Is that the cause of the problem, or is there a trick to moving media FX along with the media files themselves?

Is that the cause of the problem?….
Yes it is. Your project was created on a 64bit machine
along with the 64bit version of vegas and you moved that project
on a 32bit system and 32bit vegas and because of this, whatever
filters you applied initially may not have been carried over
because of the 32bit and 64bit different architecture.
64bit filters/plugins cannot work on a 32bit system.Steve Rhoden
