I have a 12-Core Mac Pro running 10.7.2, and Adobe Media Encoder 6.0.0.382 (64 bit).

When I encode things using AME, it appears to not be using all of my machine’s cores. Depending on what settings I select, it will use either roughly a third or two-thirds of my machine’s power. Different settings result in different levels of CPU use. Does anyone know why this would be?
