    Media Composer 7 & deck control

    Hi there,

    I’m very new to the Avid world, so I don’t know an awful lot about it. Anyway, I just wondered if MC7 can use the built in 9 pin serial port for deck control, or I have to buy a external USB > RS422 adapter.

    You need the external one – Keyspan if on Mac –
