    On page 58 of Richard Harrington’s book, An Editor’s Guide to Adobe Premiere Pro, he suggests cleaning the Media Cache Database from time to time. Does that mean going in and just manually deleting? Or does the software do it somehow?

    Look in the preferences under Media.
