    So, I have tons of thumbnails in a folder I’m looking at in the Media Browser. I scroll down through several lines of thumbnails. I find one I want and right click to import it into my media bin. Then … the browser resets itself and jumps all the way back to the top of the window, and then has to reprocess all the thumbnails as I scroll back down to get the next clip I want.

    Is there a way to keep this from happening? I’d like to stay in the area of the last clip I imported.

    EDIT: Does it in List view, too.

    Hi Sam,

    Sorry there is now way to disable this behavior. This is a known issue and is being looked at.

    Has there been a fix for this problem? Maybe a setting in preferences that I can not find?
    using Adobe Premiere 7.2.1

    Wow. I posted that nearly a year and a half ago re: CS6. Has this still not been fixed in CC?

    (I’ve been away from Premiere for a while and haven’t been on it much again until recently).

    Sam, LOL Nope!!! or I have not found the correct setting in any of the preferences or menus.
    Honestly, I don’t think they have fixed it. 🙁

    I also, still, have this on Windows. Makes it kinda impossible to browse through the clips.

    Any word on this? Hard to believe all Premiere users are having this and trying to work like this?
