  Media – AUDIO – Re-Connection Issues (NOW FIXED)

  I am just archiving a large project, and as always I take my archive onto a clean system and re-connect the media in the project to the archive media on my firewire BU drive. However when I have attempted re-linking I have come up with a number of issues – seamingly all related. Much of the audio is giving me a file mismatch warning (media start and end / rate) and if I force it to connect, the audio has slipped out of sync.

  For my media management I copied the media in it’s entirety, including master clips outside of selection.

  Looking further into this I’ve also brought the original media (that links to the original program) across onto the firewire and am experiencing the same issues with this. I’ve also brought the original project across and unbelievably this is giving me the same issues also.

  This got me thinking and I discovered that one system was running 6.06 (the original system) and the system I was testing the edit on was running 6.05. I upgraded the test system and hey presto…… I was stumped for a while there though.
