Media 100 to After Effects
Can anyone tell me how to export a media100 project directly into After Effects 7.0? I’ve been following the instructions in the Media100 User Guide and it doesn’t seem to be working. I am able to get an M1X file out of Media 100, but not into AE. Please help!!

Do you have Media 100 i V8.2.3/Media 100 HD or an earlier version of Media 100? If you have V8.2.3 or later you can take the “Media 100 Project Importer” (found in YourMedia100Folder->Adobe AfterEffects PlugIn under “Applications”) and copy it over to YourAfterEffectsFolder->PlugIns->Standard->Format. Then AE can read the Media 100 exports.
If you have an older version of Media 100 i you cannot import into AE7 directly. You would need to import into AE6.5 first, save the project there and open the project in AE7 then.
