Media 100 1.1.3 upgrade, & Red Issues
Hi.
Just popped into Media 100 1.1.3 on my MacBookPro OSX 10.5.8 to do a quick project, and notice that after rendering a composition clip, on the A/B track, it’s black.
The rendered media is in the rendered media folder, and I can import it in, and use it as a tangible clip, but the composition clip left in the timeline is just black, which sucks.
I remember there were Red / Media100 issues at the time – did these get solved in the next version? Or was there a workaround?
Am I entitled to upgrade to 1.5.1 for free, or would I need to buy a new licence or something?
Am using Red 4.3.4.

Just a quick update – it’s a bit random. Sometimes it’s black, sometimes it’s not. Just had one comp clip that rendered fine.
My startup disk’s hard drive space was a bit low [not my media hard drive] – I’ve freed up a bit more space now, dunno if that affects it.
Still interested to hear what upgrades I may be entitled to (or not).
Have emailed Boris’ sales email addy also.
