I am editing on MC v 5.0 on a iMAC and getting and error message: Exception: Unsupported Resolution

    This happens:
    1. Whenever there is a hole in the video timeline and
    2. When attempting to save/create a title.

I’ve done a few searches and I’ve deleted the msm files in the AVID support folder & OMF folders. This hasn’t helped. Since this is happening with the internal media, it appears to be an issue with the Avid filler/support files.

I’m at an artist residency and don’t have access to the install disks, so reinstalling MC5 won’t work. I’ve been editing by just not allowing there to ever be a gap in the video timeline & making titles in PS, but it is a hassle.

    Any ideas?? System details below.

Having the same problem and trashing the files didn’t work. Only other solution I could find in Avid forums is to uninstall, trash the files, and reinstall…
