  MC 2018.x compatibility with NVidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB GPU

  Hello,

  I am planning to buy the following laptop. Not clear on the MC 2018.x compatibility with the GPU.
  Dell G Series G7 7588, 15.6-inch FHD, 8th gen Core i7-8750H, RAM – 16GB, GPU – NVidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB, Storage – 1TB + 128GB SSD, OS -Windows 10

  I checked with Avid Support and got the following reply.
  “NVidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB GPU is not included in the supported graphics card for Media Composer 2018.1 and the latest version 2018.8. It may however work, but there’s no guarantee that Media Composer will work fine in the long run as it hasn’t really been tested for that system”

  Has anyone used it with MC 2018.x? Any suggestion?
