MAXON MOGRAPH MODULE!!
Posted by Adam Trachtenberg on April 18, 2006 at 3:23 pmHot off the presses, Maxon has just announced it’s new Mograph Module, which will be demo’d at NAB. Actually I will be one of the demo artists, so if you’re going to be there please do come by and say hi.
I can tell you that this module is simply astounding. Read all about it here: https://www.maxon.net/usa/index.html

Yes, IMHO it’s very worth it. If you do motion graphics it could easily pay for itself in one day. Even if you don’t, it has enough applications to make it a very good value.Personally I love that it gives you a lot of the power of Thinking Particles but with infinitely greater ease of use.

April 20, 2006 at 3:27 pmfunny thing is it seems to have the functions of Storm tracer, Jenna, and Response all built in. Makes me wonder if that’s why Jenna, CPT, and Response suddenly went away.
I for one am besides myself thrilled with this module. I think it was completely brilliant on Maxon’s part to realize their main demo and do a module for them. I’m getting it the second it drops.
Not to mention it will be invaluable for non-mograph stuff as well (like populating trees along a terrain or creating crowds or traffic). Yeah, I could do that before with particles. but I bet this is far more intuitive to use.
