    What exactly is this plugin?

Can’t find anything about it on Maxon’s site.. does anyone know what this is used for/how it’s used? Also it says AE->C4D 11.5 but does it work for R12?

What do you mean by documentation?
if you are asking how to import a rendered scene file from cinema 4d to after effects, just search the maxon site, download the plugin, and place it in your after effects plugin folder. They have a plugin for both 11.5 and 12.

no, I meant AE -> C4D, like camera data etc. from AE into Cinema. There’s a plugin on the Maxon site that’s called that, but I can’t find any documentation about it (description, instructions for use, etc.)

If you are talking about the plugin called:

Plugin for After Effects CS5 to CINEMA 4D R11.5 connection.

or any of them listed on that page, they have it backwards, that is actually the plugin that enables you to take your stuff from Cinema into After Effects.

There may not be an official plugin but there is a script that I believe works with r12. I thinks there is a thread or two about it on this site as well.

Thanks, I know about this one, was just hoping for an “official” alternative as I’m having trouble getting this to work right
