Maximize Undocked Panel in Windows
When using Premiere on Windows, there is no option to maximize (or make full-screen) an undocked panel. I’m talking about the little ‘double square’ icon that exists in the top right of most programs on the Windows OS, directly next to the “X” close icon. And by undocked panel, I’m taking about dragging out a panel – the project panel, for instance – from the main program so that it’s a ‘floating window’.
When using Premiere on mac, I have the little green “+” icon that maximizes the windows.
But I’ve always wondered why this maximize button isnt available on Windows. It would be very useful to be able to drag out my source panel (or another panel) and be able to easily resize it to fill up my second monitor. Currently, I have to change the size of the window by dragging out the corners, which is inconvenient.
Is there any way to do this? Just asking in case Ive been missing something super basic.
Thanks!
