Greeting to all fellow Motion gurus,

I am currently testing motion for an up coming project that I need to set the size of the project resolution beyond 2048 X 2048.

The project has to do with Video Wall and I really want to use MOTION for it.
I am unable to set the resolution to beyond 2048 by 2048. Is there a way to go beyond current limit ?

    Best Regards,

    Zippy

You need the high end nVidia cards to go to 4096×4096. 6800 or 7800 would do it.

BUY SHAKE! With the price drop, you’ll be glad you did. Handles BIG rez quite well.

It’s a driver issue for the most part and ATI cards don’t currently support resolutions above 2048 x 2048. Go with Jim’s recommendations and get an nVidia card that supports 4096 x 4096 if you to work in a higher rez than 2K.

    Greetings to you all

Thank you all for answering my Max Rez in MOTION question.
I guess I have to either buy a new Display Card or use SHAKE.

I think I am going to go the Shake route for now.
