Matte moved on its own or I’m just sleepy?
Okay, this one’s just plain weird. I wanted to blur a sign in a stationary shot, so I copied the clip from track 1 to track 2 and created an 8-point garbage matte on the copy. Then I applied a blur to the copy. This nagging clip with the sign recurs numerous times throughout the project… maybe 16 times throughout the 2-hour and 23-minute project.
All was well, I thought. I rendered the project, authored and mastered a dvd and sent it to my client. He noticed some of the mattes were in the middle of the screen, not over the sign. The exact shape of the matte was retained, but the points were all shifted. I re-positioned each of the points in each of the errant clips, re-rendered, etc., double-double checked it, and sent it to the client.
Question section:
Has anyone else had mattes move on their own?
Is there a way in PPro to move all points at the same time?
Is it time for me to get some sleep instead of meeting deadlines?
Sorry, there were no replies found.
