I’m rendering out a series of sequences for a bunch of HD footage — and when we look at the gfx they are all muted and not defined, as if the matte was barely working — just wanted to know if anyone has seen or heard of a problem like this
    thanks

if its just the areas that are supposed to be transparent that look muddy, rendering with rgb+alpha, millions of colors+ and then setting color to straight (unmatted) may help. but i would also check your comp and make sure the alpha looks correct. in the preview window, click the color circles and select alpha to see jus the alpha.

Hey KEVIN –thanks for the reply — My seting were all correct (the same I’ve been using for years) — I will try straight unmatted and see what we come up with — I’m just worried that using straight umatted with transparencies will make the gfx look like crap
