  Matrox Parhelia APVe

  I’m thinking of switching to the Matrox Parhelia APVe so I can get SD and HDV monitoring on an external monitor. Since the Matrox Parhelia APVe card outputs component video, is it good enough to record to a BetaSP. I suppose that quality is a subjective thing, and I’d be surprised if it did … but the BetaSP will playback with a TBC … so maybe it would be acceptable for a “dying” format?

  What experience have people had?
