That is typical of capture card companies. After the Kona 3 was released, it took them a few months to get the cross convert on output written into the software. So they make all this hardware, and then can add features with software tweaks. I find that really cool.
Yeah, I am liking my MXO2 more and more.

Makes me all the more sad that my cinewave card’s now an ornament – that had so much processing power and with new drivers… well we’ll never know. Thanks AVID!
