  Materials and time effector.

  Previously Adam advised me on how cycle through the materials with time effector – namely by putting materials in myltishader. Yet I have inconsistent results when I try to change the rate at which materials change by controlling the strength of the effector. Typically I need new material every N frame, usually one material per frame.
  I will appreciate any help.
