  • matching wide to tighter shot to the same tighter shot frame w a second vid (same tipod setting)

Sorry if i am not using the correct terminology; i am a musican just learning Final cut for my solo gtr vids.
A month ago, i asked about the flow transition morphing the hand position between two takes. my vid editor and i got it work extremely well for closeups of hands ( where i would start the second vid with virtually the same hand position as the end of the first) . The subsequent movement of the hand esp. the right fingering hand was virtually undectable as a jump cut. When i show the wider view (orig footage) however the upper body movement is more noticeable, so that i need to have a tighter shot during the 6 second flow transition magic.
my question now is: How to match the first zoomed frames to the exact frame view for the second one? Both are shot with wider view ( as i do need wider shots to various key frame tighter shots throughout the vid, to make it more interesting, and show my full profile at times.
If this is not possible i may need a second camera for close shots?
    thank you, Ray Butler
also if anyone has experience with self duet video? , where one half of the frame view is the first recording of me and the other half of the frame is the second duet vid., so that entire room shows as if two people are partially facing each other. i plan to have an air bud audio recording in one ear, when i record the second guitar. now that the group restrictions are in effect, i thought it would be a creative format to simulate playing with another guitarist etc.
