My documentary is shot on a DVX100A and edited in FCP 5 as a standard 29.97 timeline. Of course I love the “look” of our film but I have additional compositions like effects, speed change, titles and layered effects within the timeline that have the distinctive “video” look to them in contrast to our footage. My question is this: is there a way in FCP the change the settings (pulldown, perhaps?) so that the footage throughout has a uniform look? One recommendation is to use the nattress filters. But is the root of the problem fixable in FCP?

    Thanks in advance.
