    I am taking an HVX200 with me to Africa to be a backup cam for a my varicam on a feature doc. I am a shootign the varicam at 24p. What is the best settign to set the HVX at for a 24p project. Also can I bring my Varicam settings over to the VHX?

    Any advice woudl be appreciated.

    Matching to a Varicam- the settings do not transfer directly camera to camera.
    However it is far easier to set your Varicam to match the HVX that it is matching the other way. Know that it captures content is the same codec and compression, and working with the content between 2 cameras, when properly matched to each other, is quite easy.

    there is a vast amount of info buried here in the COW Archives covering the multiple settings, setups and user articles on the HVX200. Doing a search in this forum will provide you a vast wealth of information regarding the camera setup and ideas for the workflow, and maybe even offer you some ideas that you may not have been thinking about.
