Matching Camera Formats
I am doing a two camera shoot.
One camera is the Cannon 5D mark II.
The other camera is the Nikon D90.
The Cannon shoots in 1920 x 1080 (16×9) at 24 frames per second.
The Nikon shoots in 1280 x 720 (16×9) at 24 frames per second.Will they match up in Final Cut Pro? Also what is the best workflow for editing this footage.

Well, no. Frame rate, yes, but frame size, no. You can see that clearly. The Nikon doesn’t do 1080p at 24fps?
Well, you’ll have to convert them both to ProRes…so why not upscale the Nikon to 1080 when you do. Use Compressor for that. As for the 5D, use Log and transfer: Tapeless Workflow for FCP 7 Tutorial
