Matching Audio To Video Playback Rate Preview.
hello. i am very new to vegas. so new that im using vegas 4.0 with winxp. i didnt even know there were newer versions. anyway, i have a question. im trying to edit a video. i want to make it slow motion for half the video. im adjusting the ‘playback normal rate’ for the video to .37. i know you can right click on the video stream-then click properties and adjust the playback rate there. the only thing is that it only does it for the video stream. when i use the yellow arrow in the main window to adjust the rate it changes both the audio and video rate automatically. i like the way the audio sounds when it adjusts it automatically like this. i know you can right click on the audio stream-then properties and adjust the pitch/length there, but it doesnt sound the same as the way i want it to when you play it through the main window (yellow arrow). so my question is how do i get the audio stream to match the video when i change the video to .37 playback rate? the way it does automatically when you play it back through the main window with the yellow arrow. i hope this makes sense.
thanks 🙂
