  • Matching 24p footage “look” within FCP5

    Hello all,

My documentary was shot with the Panasonic DVX100A at 24p and my completed project contains this footage with effects rendered withing FCP5 and Photo to Movie (PtoM). Problem is this: the footage that FCP and PtoM created looks very “video” compared to the DVX footage. Is there a way to make everything homogenous and get rid of that nasty look rendered by PtoM and FCP?

Film effects by nattress.com. It has a filter that gives 30i video the 24P treatment.

Man, it seems I am plugging this set of plugins for EVERYTHING.

Nattress, is there anything it can’t do?

It probably can’t render as slow as Magic Bullet. 😉

I usually use the strobe effect under video filters>video>strobe. I set the strobe to 1 frame. Couple that with some good color correction.
