i have been pulling my hair out trying to motion track labels into a google earth animation i made.
from all the tutorials i have looked at it seems to handle horizontal panning pretty well but my project is trying to track attach a label to a vertical scrolling google earth map.

attached i a link to my project and a video of what it looks like. i have tried to do it both ways that i read about

    1. analyzing the video motion and then copying that into match motion
    2. just analyzing the motion in the match move behavior

i have also tried to adjust via scale and rotation to no luck.

    any suggestions?

here is a link to the motion project and file https://db.tt/xWPSyTXU

    a big thanks in advance!

(just a note, i know i can do this in google earth, but it really is not very stable and doesn’t allow for fine placement of labels in a 3d space. i figured I’d run into similar problems but at least motion is a professional level tool and should be able to give me the fine control i need)

Try changing the anchor point of the text so when you add the rotation tracker the text will not move because the anchor point is where it needs to hug the line of the pop up graphic.
