In FCP, I often edit b-roll without the audio. Then later, I’ll use a match frame to retrieve the audio and edit it into the timeline. In FCP, when you do a match frame from the timeline, the master clip will have the same in/outs as the clip in the timeline making this process very fast. Premiere does not behave this way. I think it just keeps the in/outs from the last time you worked with that master clip. Is there a way to make the match frame behave the FCP way or to quickly set the same in/out as the clip in the timeline.
