Could I get this stuff to match?

We have currently ~2h30m that was telecined( from a russian 35mm camera) to digibeta & working in FCP @ SD uncompressed(4:2:2). Could we mix footage from the hvx200 shot in a film mode to match for pick up shots and new scenes, or would there be allot of correction involved?

Prolly won’t go back to film( since the telecine was to SD, and we only have 1 digibeta master of the 3) so final output will be 480p from the SD uncompressed masters.

    Regards

If it’s going to stay in 480 I don’t see why not. ‘Matching’ is more an issue of lighting, composition, etc at that resolution.

The green screen stuff will be the same lights and such, but its just the outdoor footage I’m worried about. It suxs to get to telecine only to realize your lenz had a a UV leak, film after you buy, clean , develop then telecine is adding up quick$$$$ specially when you can’t tell in the field. Lots of shots to redu, and hoping I can match this..

    Thanks
