Can you animate the masks in motion? I can only seem to animate the feather of the mask.

Sure- just make sure the Keyframe recording button is lit red.

Yes. With the record button on, you can control click on a mask point, choose “edit points” from the menu. By changing the position of a point from one frame to another, you can animate the shape of the mask.
