    Hi,

On one layer I have a picture and a mask that supposed to mmm…mask a aprt of the text on an other layer. Everything is fine until the moment I transform the opacity of the layer with the mask to make a smooth transition. The mask at this time do not mask anymore, in fact become transparent in the same time the layer ie going down to 0 opacity.

How can I keep the mask continue to mask during the transition.

    Thanks if can help

See if Collapsing Transformations does the trick for you. Otherwise, you’ll have to break up the effect into two comps. In the first comp, perform the opacity routine. Then nest this into the final comp where you should apply the mask.
