Mask on text… animate text
Sorry — Drawing a blank here:
I’m trying to animate scrolling text but within a mask box.
Layer 3 – background
Layer 2 – Title text – stays locked to the top of screen
Layer 1 – Scroll textI want the scroll text to scroll up but only within the area of the mask. When I added a mask using the mask tool to Layer1 the mask moves when I change the position of the text.
What am I forgetting?

I figured it out…
Had to add a white solid and then mask the solid and Travel Matte Layer1 (now2) to it.
