    Hi,
Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere but did a search and came up empty. Is there a way in Vegas that you can have a shot you’ve used from the media bin to show that it’s already on the timeline? I came from LE6 (far prefer Vegas!) and one thing that they did have was once a shot was used in a project it’d have a check mark on it in the bin. I do keep a detailed shot sheet but was hoping there’d be a more efficient way of keeping track of shots that have been used.
    Many thanks in advance.

Here’s two different ways of doing this.
The first is to switch to “Detailed View” in the Media bin area.
The second column is a “Use count” and tells you how many times a particular event was used.
The second way is to use “Edit Details (View – Edit Details).
Set it to “Events” and, not only will it show you how many times the event was used, it’ll also show you what track and where on the timeline the event(s) was/were used.
