Marking project timeline in AVID Xpress pro for DVD chapter designation
I”m using AVID Xpress Pro 5.6 on a mac system. I’m seeking a way to mark the time line of my project with designated marks for “chapters” that can be identified in an exported Quicktime movie and then imported into iDVD to actually seperate the chapters in the DVD that I create.

Hi…
While Avid offers a workflow for their own pipeline from Avid to Avid DVD (by Sonic 😉 )
they don’t offer a workflow to bring chapters automatically into IDVD.
For that you’ll probably have to set the timeline offest to 0:00:00:00
then set some markers for yourself
finally you should be able to enter the chapter marks based on your notes for the Avid timeline.

If I’m wrong, it would be cool to know about a differnt way…
