One of the features that FCPX had that was really nice was a Marker Index that allowed you to see in a list at a glance all of the markers in a timeline. This worked really well for me, because when I edit narrative things I tend to put selects into a string-out in a timeline and then add markers to things that stand out or that I want to go back to and remember. It would be nice if I could get a list at a glance of all of my markers and comments in a given timeline.

I know it’s got something KINDA similar, in that there is a marker index per clip, which is fine, but is there any way for me to see all of the markers for all clips in a timeline?

For my method, it doesn’t work to add markers to the timeline itself, because I need to be able to add a comment to a clip, and have it move with the clip when the clip is moved around.
